Emma-Leigh graduated cum laude from the University of the Western Cape in 2019. She completed her community service year at Kuruman Hospital in 2020, after which she moved into an orthopaedic setting where she gained valuable experience treating a wide range of orthopaedic and neuromuscular conditions.
 


  Her passion lies in rehabilitation and in helping people return to their optimal function while achieving their personal goals. She places a strong emphasis on individualised, evidence-based care, ensuring that each treatment plan is tailored to the specific needs of her patients. Emma-Leigh has a particular interest in post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, as well as upper limb and hand injuries.
 


  She is committed to continual growth in her profession and actively engages in courses and research to expand her knowledge and skill set. Outside of physiotherapy, Emma-Leigh enjoys living an active lifestyle and spending quality time with her family. A former provincial gymnast and coach during her high school and university years, she brings the same discipline and dedication from her sporting background into her physiotherapy practice.
 


  Emma- Leigh is based at our Millennium Business Park rooms.
