Kauthar graduated from the University of Western Cape in 2018. She did her community service at Mitchell's Plain District hospital in 2019; following which she did locum work at various facilities in the public and private sector.

Kauthar thoroughly enjoys the rehab side of Physiotherapy and making sessions as fun and functional as possible. There is no better joy than seeing a patient achieve a goal they set for themselves and knowing you were a part of that journey! Working with geriatric patients is a pleasure; they are always happy and appreciative of the things you do for them. Kauthar has been fortunate to have been part of the medical team at the National Schools Championships for winter and summer sports; another aspect of Physiotherapy that she enjoys... being next to the sports field.

Apart from being a Physiotherapist, Kauthar is a mommy to my beautiful son who makes her life so much better. She is also a wife to my loving husband (who also happens to be a Physiotherapist - a great love story. She enjoys spending ALL her free time with family and friends who play a big part in her life. Kauthar's "nieces" and "nephews" are her unbiological kids and call her "Aunty Kaufa".

Kauthar enjoys the outdoors - being in nature, sunbathing at the beach or just having a lekker braai at home. Over a weekend she volunteers at her local soccer club, FC Bo-Kaap. For Kauthar, at the end of the day, nothing beats cuddling up in bed with a cup of hot chocolate, a comedy and a bucket of popcorn!

Kauthar started working at this practice in September 2022 and is based at Oasis Retirement resort.
