Adrian graduated from the University of the Western Cape with a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Physiotherapy degree in 2016. He completed his community service in Kimberley where he managed the Tuberculosis (TB) physiotherapy unit and outpatient department. Upon completion of his community service and moving back to Cape Town, he decided to pursue his yearning for growth, knowledge and personal development by doing a Master’s (MSc) degree in Physiotherapy at the University of Stellenbosch where he will graduate in 2020.
Coupled with this, Adrian joined a private practice at the Life Kingsbury and Melomed Gatesville Private Hospital where he was exposed to a variety of conditions focusing on spinal surgeries, trauma and cardiac conditions. He has also completed a course in Dry Needling level 1 and 2. Overall, Adrian wants to keep on improving on his evaluation, clinical reasoning, knowledge and practical skills by continuing to do post-grad courses where he will be able to apply these skills to his patient’s quality of life and function of all ages.
In his spare time, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, outdoor activities, fitness, weightlifting, CrossFit and hockey. Adrian is based at our Millennium Business Park practice and Oasis Care and Retirement Resort Centre where he is part of a multidisciplinary rehabilitation team aiming to optimize function of patients post hospitalization prior to discharge home.
